A: Simply email your interest to linda@fairmontpress.com and include who you are, your web site address, your business (i.e. magazine, energy service provider), and contact information. After you are approved and we both sign the non-exclusive, cancelable agreement, we will email you your unique referral id number. All you need to do is establish a link with your id to your co-branded store. Some of our participating companies entice site visitors to go to the book store by stressing the 15% savings (i.e. Energy Books - Save 15% OR New HVAC books Click Here OR Energy & Facility Books -Act Now Save 15%). Q: Who are some of the other participating co-branded stores. A: Although the program was just launched, we have established a strategic line-up of participants featuring: energy.com, powermarketers.com, utilityconnection.com, AESP.org, invironment.com, aeecenter.org, IAEE.org, lightstat.com and powersmiths.com. The internet has enabled us to provide companies in the energy & facility management field the opportunity to earn incremental income, offer a customer or employee benefit, and enhance the contact of their web site by offering access to over 120 book titles, CDs, newsletters, and journals. Q: Do we have to do any programming: A: The referral site simply needs to establish a link to their co-branded store. If you would like your logo added to your store, simply email us a .GIF file. Some stores have decided a graphic to increase their store's visibility. Q: Who handles the orders and customer service. A: This is one of the best features of the co-branded stores. TFP is responsible for processing the orders, customer service, payment processing, and other fulfillment issues. All you need to do is establish the link to your store and promote it as best as you see fit. TFP will issue the referral site a commission check and statement on December 31, and June 30. Q: How can we promote our co-branded store to increase our commissions. A: There are several ways to enhance your site. If you have a customer or prospect email list, we can launch the program by emailing them a VIP E-Coupon which will announce the book feature and offer them additional savings (i.e. $15 off any book purchase $50 or more). If you have an employee or customer newsletter, you can mention the 15% savings. This will help to attract visitors to Your site, increasing your hits, and helping to get visitors to view your product information. Q: Can our own employees order though our co-branded store to save 15%. A: Yes. This feature enables your company to save on its training / reference material costs. Q: We have our own books and/or other publisher's books on our site. Does this violate TFP's Co-branded store agreement? A: No. Our agreement is non-exclusive and cancelable.
